Masking Tape
One thing I like to do, is take everyday objects and elevate them. This is just a simple roll of tape on seamless paper with one light, and you have a photo that could be used in endless ways.
Shirt on Chair
Made in my loft in Chicago as a self promotional image. Dramatic and commercially usable.
Daffodil
This photo was a commission to create images for an upscale salon. It uses my signature "one light" style.
Leaf and Shadows
This was conceived to illustrate a booklet cover that dealt with issues surrounding aging. We wanted it dramatic, without being too overt.
Pills on Granite
This was done for a program that was seeking to highlight abuses with prescription drugs. Don't call the police. Those are just aspirin that I scraped with an X-acto knife, but still look pretty scary, huh?
Disgusting Ashtray
This was for a smoking cessation program. Even though the image is powerful and it was deemed effective, I still get a little queasy just looking at it.
Rusty Oil Can
Also part of the commission to produce images for a high end salon.
Hat on Table
Another album cover. The musician this was done for was never without this hat, so it seemed a natural choice to showcase it on his demo album cover.
Pierced Pear
Self explanatory.
Dried Leaf
Another photo made custom to hang in a very cool hair salon.
